Giancarlo Valle grew up in San Francisco, Chicago, Caracas, and Guatemala City. He received his Masters of Architecture at Princeton University where he was awarded the Suzanne Kolarik Underwood Thesis Prize. Previously, Giancarlo worked in Philadelphia for KieranTimberlake Associates. Since then he has worked at SHoP Architects in New York. Giancarlo has most recently completed a number of collaborations with designers Jason Wu, Thakoon, and Phillip Lim, in addition to participating in various competitions, lecture series, and guest juries while at Princeton.
