Soho

New York, New York

Color is the catalyst, six floors dipped in a saturated palette of deep emeralds, mauves, pistachios, and cotton candy blues. A traditional delineation of functional spaces allows for each room to be dialed to their own frequency — cool in the sunlight-suffused sitting room, emotive in the dining spaces, calm in the private ones. Custom furniture throughout the project was purpose-built: a massive table for large-format dinners; perfectly nestled storage; a pair of club chairs, a collaboration with Green River Project and Bode, features corduroy upholstery referencing the couple’s deep New York City roots. The home’s spiral staircase is clad in a raised plaster balustrade, a nautilus shell finished in an imperfect childlike hand, like a funny putty Guggenheim spiral, sized for home.
